From The Black Sea To The Aegean
Triathletes will compete in Balıkesir on 27 August. 550 participants in total are expected in Burhaniye Triathlon.
Triathlon family will be moving to the Aegean Sea a week later than Ünye Triathlon. The event, organised by the Turkish Triathlon Federation, includes the races for cadettes, youth, juniors, elites and age groups categories. The Technical Meeting and the Pasta Party is to take place on 26th of August.
Depar Timing, the official timer of Burhaniye Triathlon, will provide its services with a team of four timers. -

Ünye Ready For First Triathlon
Ünye Yunus Emre Triathlon will be held on Sunday, 20 August. Ünye Municipality, the organiser of the event, waived the entry fees.
Triathletes have the opportunity to compete in three categories in the well-known district of Ordu. The event includes Individual Olympic Triathlon, Olympic Triathlon Team Challenge and the Individual Sprint Triathlon. The race has a time limit of four hours.
Taking the triathlon to the Black Sea region, Ünye Belediyesi provides free transport for the registrants from the cities of Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, Kocaeli and Istanbul. The district is located at a distance of 40 minutes to Ordu Airport where the transfers will also be provided free of charge.
Entries for the event are processed via the official website at unyetriatlonu.com. The Organising Committee has announced recently that, “in order to promote the sport of triathlon”, the entry fees are waived upon a proposal made by Ahmet Çamyar, Mayor of Ünye. Those participants who have paid the predetermined fee will be refunded.
Timing services in Ünye Yunus Emre Triathlon will be provided by Depar Timing with a team of four timers.

MYLaps A Total Success In London
MYLaps systems, offered to the race organisers in Turkey by Depar Timing, were used in the marathon and race walking events at the World Athletics Championships.
Timing of the road races was entrusted to MYLaps in the major global athletics championships staged in London on 4-13 August. All intermediate and finishing times of the women’s and men’s marathons on the 6th of August as well as the 50km and 20km race walks on the closing day were provided precisely. Split times and the results were posted live on the official website and mobile application of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF).
MYLaps system, recognised by the event organisers in the world by its high level of accuracy in the results, served the 2017 IAAF World Athletics Championships with great success.

Excitement Moves To Kartal In Triathlon
Turkish Triathlon Federation is set to stage another event in Istanbul. Triathletes of all ages will gather for Kartal Triathlon on Sunday, 13 August.
The races, which the timing services will be provided by Depar Timing, include Age Groups, Elites, Juniors and Paratriathletes over the Sprint distance (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) as well as 1/2 Sprint for Youth, 1/4 Sprint for M3 Cadettes, 1/8 Sprint for M2 Cadettes and 1/16 Sprint for M1 Cadettes.
Dragos Coast will host the Kartal Triathlon. The technical meeting is scheduled to Saturday, 12 August.

Istanbul Hosts Triathletes
Istanbul’s Beylikdüzü District is set to stage the ETU Triathlon European Cup on Sunday, 30 July. The venue will witness the age groups and paratriathlon competitions on the preceding day.
Turkish Triathlon Federation is organising the Cup at the Gürpınar Coast with the support of Beylikdüzü Municipality. A total of 300 participants are expected on the first day for the age groups and paralympic events. The race also serves as the national trials for the paratriathletes.
On Sunday morning, Elite Women and Elite Men will compete on the courses of 1500m swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running. Besides several European countries, triathletes from Argentina, Australia, Canada and Ecuador are registered with the Cup as well.
Timing services at the 2017 Istanbul ETU Triathlon European Cup will be provided by Depar Timing.
